Having worked in the IT industry for twenty years in both technical and commercial roles, Richard brings a wealth of experience to the business in designing and creating innovative technology solutions. With considerable experience in the Hospitality industry and having worked with some of the most prestigious Hotels in Europe, he has first-hand experience of just how big a part technology now has to play in our daily lives, our surroundings and our interactions with other people.

Andy has worked in the AV industry for eighteen years, in domestic and hospitality environments. Andy’s background is predominantly working with high-end brands such as Bang and Olufsen, Meridian and Linn. As AV technologies have become more IT focussed and converged, Andy has become adept at designing and installing home data and Wi-Fi networks as well as HD/4K distribution and switching systems. Andy prides himself in achieving a high standard of installation and has gained a considerable reputation in the AV industry for his work.

Jason brings a wealth of knowledge and experience having worked in the AV industry in both residential and commercial environments for over 20 years. He is qualified in the market leading control systems such as Control4 and Lutron and specialises in automation and integration. Along with a solid background in the AV industry, Jason has an in-depth knowledge of IP networks and designing them to provide a stable and reliable infrastructure for control systems.

David joined Smartworks in February 2023, having worked in the retail sector for over 30 years in senior leadership roles. He brings a wealth of knowledge in areas such as client relationships, customer service, process and project management, planning and people leadership. Prior to joining Smartworks, David led a large team in London for Apple for 12 years. He also led a business-to-business team, looking after some of the UK’s biggest brands and helping them integrate Apple technology into their organisation, customer journey and workflow.

Matt joined the Smartworks team in January 2020 as an experienced Bang and Olufsen installer having worked for Dawson’s B&O for nearly ten years. Matt specialises in high-end residential installations, home cinema solutions and marine installations (specifically Sunseeker Yachts). Matt is also a qualified electrician and has helped the team to bridge the gap between intelligent control solutions and M&E infrastructure in residential and commercial environments.

Toby is the latest addition to the Smartworks team and brings a wealth of experience in ultra-premium residential electrical installations having worked for some of the south coasts most prestigious developers.
